Barre Our Barre Classes are a non-stop workout, set to the beat and phrase of fast-paced dance music. They are designed to lift the butt, tone the thighs, sculpt the arms, flatten the abs and redefine the entire body. This high-energy, low impact, total body workout contains small isometric contractions, that are performed and integrated with an interval training approach that burns fat and improves cardiovascular fitness. The result is a body that is realigned, rebalanced and works harmoniously and efficiently.
High energy, low impact total body workout
Each Barre class will begin with a warm up. The main bulk of the class is spent at the barre, then moves onto the mat where hand weights will be used to in conjunction with leg movement in order to increase the heart rate and stamina. Balance work is also included, as well as floor work to focus on the upper body and abdominal exercises. Final stretches are performed at the end of the sessions.
